Events: Panel to Focus on Health Disparities Research at UTEP
This week, El Paso will help frame America’s health care discussion with a panel focusing on health disparities research at UTEP. From Sept. 2-4, the public is invited to hear from UTEP alumni Dr. James Rohack, president of the American Medical Association (AMA), and Dr. Willarda Edwards, president of the National Medical Association (NMA), will attend the meeting along with Dr. Elena Rios, president and CEO of the National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA), all focusing on health care along the U.S.-Mexico border.
