Selling/Branding/Pitching El Paso
Radio la Chusma, photographed here by Victoria Molinar in Downtown El Paso, is the subject of a piece by Morris Pittle about the branding of El Paso.
One of the conversation strains in El Paso is how to pitch this town out of market. Recently Pittle, manager of Radio la Chusma and president of Two Ton Creativity, wrote a piece about Radio la Chusma’s performance at the House of Blues in Anaheim, Ca., and it was more than a show review, it was more like a floor plan on how to address our branding issues and sell the city. Not only is it is worth the time to read the piece (it’s smart and interesting) but it’s the best framing of the branding/marketing/selling issue that I’ve read in a while, if not ever. -Lisa Degliantoni
