8th Annual Elephant Festival
Yesterday, we posted an item about a lost feline friend at the El Paso Zoo. But many of you might remember the loss of another beloved animal, Mona the Elephant, who died on her birthday in October 2001. To mark that occasion, the El Paso Zoo started the Annual Elephant Festival.
Now in its eighth year, El Pasoans can go hang out with Juno and Savannah while learning about animal conservation. It will take place Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
