From Arleene Barrios at UTEP Communicaitons: UTEP student Sonam Wangmo brought the hand-sewn drapery from her native country of Bhutan and personally delivered it to UTEP. Wangmo said it gives her much pride to see the enormous tapestry on display at the library. “In Bhutan this image can be found in most homes because it’s said to bring peace and harmony among the family,” she said.
